The Moving Violations with Linda Leslie calling. The Moving Violations are: Becky Ashenden (piano, accordion, bass), Chuck Corman (bass, guitar, percussion), Van Kaynor (fiddle) and Ron Grosslein (fiddle, mandolin). Swedish dancing from 8:00 to 8:30; contras from 8:30.

Saturday May 3

8 PM $8-10

Wild Asparagus presents a contra dance with special guests Jeremiah McLane and Harry Aceto. The dance starts at 8:00 with a short beginner's workshop and goes till 11:30. Admission is $10 ($8 students) at the door. Info call: 413.772.6840

Friday May 9

7:30 PM, $8-10 or barter equivalent

Special evening with music and calling by Swallowtail. Calling will be George Marshall and Tim Van Egmond. Ron Grosslein will play fiddle and mandolin; David Cantieni on winds; Timm Triplett, piano; George Marshall will play bodharan(Irish drum) and concertina; and Tim Van Egmond will be playing hammered dulcimer and various percussion instruments. There's a beginner's workshop at 7:30 and the dance runs from 8-11.

Saturday May 10

10 AM FREE

Friends of the Grange SPRING CLEAN UP DAY. Come, bring a friend to dust off the grange after another year of dancing - oh - and winter. Find out the name of the person you see on the dance floor. Bring work gloves. Yard work, vacuuming, raking, glass cleaning, etc... FREE PIZZA lunch!!!

Contradance with Rick Mohr calling. Music by fiddler Jessie Gagne Hall, Marko Packard on guitar flute and sax, and Mary Cay Brass on piano. Admission $10.
